Bookings: Once you have found the items you would like to incorporate into your special day please email us at email@example.com for a custom quote. To hold your booking, a non- refundable deposit of 50% is required. Final Payment is due two weeks prior to the event date and a bond is required on all DIY bookings.
Bond: A 50% bond on the total booking amount is required for all DIY's. On return and check of the items the bond is fully refunded within 7 days of return of the goods into the customers nominated bank account.
Forms of payment:We accept bank deposit or cash. If you are paying from an overseas bank account please ensure you pay the extra fee for international bank transfers. If this is not paid, any fees which have to be paid by V & S will be paid out of your bond to cover this.
Delivery and collections:If you require delivery and next day collection we have a minimum $200.00 spend on hire items. (Not including delivery fees). Delivery and collection fees start from $50.00 in the Auckland area. For outside Auckland we charge the standard mileage rate for motor vehicle of .74cents per kilometre.
Minimum Hire: Please note we have a minimum hire of $100.00 on DIY items which are available for you to pick up and drop off at our premises at an arranged time. All DIY hire rates are based on a maximum four day period. We are flexible on drop off and pick up times just depending on if the items are booked out again.
Packaging: Please pack all items in original packaging and boxes, if original packaging is not returned you will be charged for replacement. Items must be ready and packed to go at the agreed collection time.
Viewings: DIY hire pre viewings are only available for larger items or quantities . We are more than happy to provide extra details, photos and measurements via email if required.
Cancellations:Please inform us as soon as possible if you have to cancel. If the full balance has been paid and then you wish to cancel, we will retain the initial 30% non-refundable deposit, and the remaining amount will be re-paid in full immediately.
Hire booking form:-Please print out and fill in the booking form. This needs to be signed and emailed back to us to confirm you have read and agree with our hire policies and terms.
Do your prices include GST? YES they do.
Where about's are you based?We are in Greenlane, Auckland.
Are the lights safe?All of our lights are fully assembled by a qualified Electrican and comply with NZ safety standards. Please use the bulbs we supply with the lights. Our jar lights come with a 40w bulb which is the maximum wattage required. Also please be mindful like any lights to keep out of the reach of children as they do get hot. Also be aware of any hanging cords these too should be out of reach.
Are Flowers and Greenery included: We are not florists but are defintely creative so are happy to add some greenery on our installations (additional charges apply).
We accept no responsibility for injury caused to any person during the hire period. All items hired and are the responsibility of the hirer until they are returned.
